Welcome to Makeup By Mikayla Khoury. By accessing, browsing, or using this website, or by booking any services with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not access or use this website or book any services.
Makeup By Mikayla Khoury maintains this website and all related information and services for the use of our clients and customers. These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the site, including visitors and clients who book services.
Services & Appointments
Makeup By Mikayla Khoury provides professional makeup services including, but not limited to, bridal makeup, event makeup, and in-person makeup education (“Services”).
By booking a Service with Makeup By Mikayla Khoury, you agree to the following terms.
Bookings & Deposits
All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Deposits are non-refundable unless Makeup By Mikayla Khoury cancels the appointment. Where a client cancels more than 7 days prior to the scheduled appointment, the deposit may be transferred to a credit note valid for 6 months, at the discretion of Makeup By Mikayla Khoury. Credit notes are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable.
Cancellations
If a client cancels less than 7 days prior to the scheduled appointment, the 50% deposit is forfeited.
If a client cancels more than 7 days prior to the scheduled appointment, the deposit may be transferred to a credit note valid for 6 months. Failure to rebook within this period will result in forfeiture of the credit.
Late Arrivals & No-Shows
If a client arrives 15 minutes or more late, the appointment may be cancelled at the discretion of Makeup By Mikayla Khoury and the deposit will be forfeited.
Late arrival may result in a reduced service time to avoid impacting subsequent bookings. Full payment remains payable regardless of shortened service time.
Failure to attend an appointment without notice will be treated as a no-show and the deposit will be forfeited.
Surcharges & Early Start Fees
The following surcharges apply:
- Sunday appointments: $20 surcharge
- Appointments before 7:00am (Monday–Saturday): $50 early start fee
- Appointments before 8:00am (Sunday): $50 early start fee
- Public holidays: $50 surcharge
- Bridal appointments before 7:00am: $250 early start fee
All applicable surcharges will be confirmed prior to the appointment.
Minimum Bridal Spend
All bridal bookings are subject to a minimum spend of $500.
Pricing & Changes
All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Any booking that has been confirmed with a paid deposit prior to a price change will be honoured at the original quoted price. Price changes will not apply retrospectively to existing confirmed bookings.
Makeup By Mikayla Khoury reserves the right to update service pricing at any time. Updated pricing will apply to all new enquiries and bookings made after the change takes effect.
Continued engagement with Services following notification of a price change constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including event details, location, timing, and any relevant skin sensitivities or allergies.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are ready at the scheduled appointment time. Delays caused by the client or third parties do not extend service time.
Health, Skin & Allergy Disclaimer
While every care is taken to maintain hygiene and professional standards, Makeup By Mikayla Khoury is not liable for any adverse reactions, sensitivities, allergies, or skin conditions arising from the application of makeup products.
Clients are responsible for disclosing any known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to the appointment. All Services are provided at the client’s own risk.
The Services provided do not constitute medical, dermatological, or therapeutic advice.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Makeup By Mikayla Khoury is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the provision of Services, including dissatisfaction with results where the Services have been provided in accordance with professional standards.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
Right To Refuse Service
Makeup By Mikayla Khoury reserves the right to refuse or discontinue Services where a client engages in inappropriate, unsafe, abusive, or disrespectful behaviour, or where circumstances make it impractical or unsafe to proceed. In such cases, the deposit will be forfeited.
DIGITAL PRODUCTS & ONLINE EDUCATION
Makeup By Mikayla Khoury offers digital products including, but not limited to, online lessons, video content, downloadable guides, eBooks, masterclasses, and other educational resources (“Digital Products”).
All Digital Products are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. By purchasing a Digital Product, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable licence to access and use the content solely for your own personal purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense, share, publish, upload, or otherwise make any Digital Product available to any third party without prior written consent from Makeup By Mikayla Khoury.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details. You must not share your login credentials with any other person. Any access or use of the Digital Products through your account is your responsibility. Unauthorised sharing of login details constitutes a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Permitted Use
All Digital Products are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You must not use the content for commercial purposes, including but not limited to teaching, training others, or incorporating any part of the content into your own services, courses, programs, or educational materials without prior written consent from Makeup By Mikayla Khoury.
Digital Products are delivered electronically and access is provided immediately upon successful purchase. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that access to the Digital Product is provided immediately, and as such, all sales are final. Refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will not be provided for change of mind, dissatisfaction, lack of use, or perceived lack of results, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
You are responsible for ensuring that your device, internet connection, and software are compatible with the Digital Products prior to purchase. We recommend reviewing all product descriptions carefully before completing your purchase. Technical assistance does not extend to refunds for change of mind, lack of use, dissatisfaction with content, or personal preference.

Support is limited to reasonable technical assistance relating to access issues only. It does not include personalised advice, feedback, business coaching, or additional training unless explicitly stated.
All Digital Products are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Makeup By Mikayla Khoury makes no guarantees or representations regarding specific results, outcomes, income, or success arising from the use of any Digital Product. Access To Digital Products
Access to Digital Products is provided for the lifetime of the product, unless otherwise stated. Makeup By Mikayla Khoury reserves the right to modify or update the content of any Digital Product at any time to ensure it remains relevant and accurate. These terms apply to Digital Products only and do not apply to any other services, programs, or offerings provided by Makeup By Mikayla Khoury.
Unauthorised access, sharing, reproduction, redistribution, or misuse of Digital Products (including sharing login details or content files) constitutes a breach of these Terms and Conditions. Makeup By Mikayla Khoury reserves the right to suspend or terminate access without notice and to take legal action where appropriate.
